My advice is to use Veterans United and don't go somewhere else for a lender. My wife and I did and had awful experience before coming to VU. Veterans United is everything your looking for in a lender and more.

From the beginning to the end of this process they made me feel so comfortable, both was very knowledgeable of their job, I had questions they had answers, their line of communication was all ways open, using todays technology if I called they answered, if I texted they texted back, if I email they email back, if I faxed they responded (Got it), in todays world it can be very annoying to try to communicate with someone and have to wait for a respond, I didn't experience that with Kevin or Abbey. I had more stress dealing with a v.a appraiser then I did getting the loan. I swear it was easier then buying a car and getting a car laon.

I started this in July and the first home fell through to a horrible v.a appraiser so by the end of July begining of August i found the next home and a few weeks later it was closing time and now the big move.

I really wish more soldiers knew about Veterans United. They really made a difference in my life and got my family into our 1st real home since getting out of the military. If they haven't heard of you yet they are missing out!!!!
Veteran United has simplified financial steps in a clear and simple systematic steps that easily understood to many first time buyers and most definitely helped me feels comfortable of whole process. loan officers and staff are excellent to deal with and were available most of the time for questioning or any concerns.
The use of web based (Internet) file uploads of required documents made the loan process efficiently streamlined. Documents could be signed online which made it much easier than FAXES or mailing. Most of the loan was completed from my smart phone while I was mobile.
