No complaints at all only good things to say about veterans united.

The appraiser seemed to be a little unprofessional. We were only lucky the sellers were willing to take the huge underappraisal. There were some times we had scares. It also seemed as though we had many more flaming hoops to jump through than many others who have had VA loans. But, at least, not as bad as USAA, from what I've been told. We had been burned once by Veteran's United, so, we didn't really care what happened this time. However, we were incredibly happy the stars aligned, and we were able to buy our home.

This being the second home I've purchased, the first VA loan I've used, this was definitely the most easy, convenient and seamless of the two. So happy with the process!

Just that Lender Agent be more knowledgeable of the "State Requirements " on CERTAIN .".IMPORTANT " DOCUMENTS REQUIRED.AND.....BETTER COMMUNICATION with "lender"!My agent was very professional and courteous yet the lack of personal communication verses computer communication was inadequate for my understanding of the entire process. If there was more verbal communication it would have gone a lot smoother. Overall great job.



The loan officer, Andy Miller, was great. Very impressed with him and his professionalism. His assistant, Caitlin, left much to be desired. She was confused and confusing, very deficient in communication. While very polite, she seemed to be a novice in the transaction she was handling. We were given incorrect information and instructions on numerous occasions. She, at one point told us we did not need flood insurance, when we did indeed need it. Had we followed her instructions in this instance, we would have been delayed in our ability to close by the promised date. She may have been new, but she definitely needed more training.

This is my second loan with VUHL and as with the first, it was a fantastic experience. The professionalism and courtesy was evident at all levels of the organization and I will certainly recommend VU to friends and family.
