Great overall experience.
I had a few issues. Paperwork wasn't filled out and had to be penned in by the notary. Pay-off check was sent to me instead of the bank for the loan. Numbers were very wrong (no one asked for an updated 10-day payoff prior to closing), which resulted in me having a much higher loan amount than needed. I'm looking at getting appx $4,000 back due to inflated payments being made to pay off my old loans. Now, many wouldn't complain about this, but I specifically asked for the lowest loan amount possible with a zero net and I was told in writing by the loan officer that this is what I would get. I got $617 back just from Veterans United.
Bill Musick, and his team, were amazing to work with! They were patient, knowledgeable, paid attention to every detail, and were always easy to get a hold of. I would recommend him, and his team, to anyone serious about buying a house. Thanks again you guys for everything you did for us, we are forever grateful!!!
Communication was always very easy both with phone conversations and electronically. During a process like this it's so important to get progress updates on an ongoing basis. I never felt like I was left in limbo. The electronic loan tracker was promptly updated as well which I found extremely helpful.
