There was one area that needed improvement, the assistant that worked on my file was constantly emailing me needing paperwork that I had sent to her boss prior to her request, papers that were already on file or asking me to clarify things I just spoke to her boss about.
Our experience with Veteran's United has not been a real great one. We will never do another VA home loan again. In the future when we sell our house we just bought here in Cicero, New York in three years we will just do a regular conventional loan with 20% down like we did with our home we bought in Springfield, Ohio. Doing a conventional loan we have realized is way easier, seamles, and quicker. I understand we were dealing with the VA and their rules and regulations in using a VA home loan. But looking back, we had a lot of issues with this and our realtor and we should have just done a conventional loan especially since we were on a time crunch to get in to any kind of place to live instead living in a hotel for 2 months with our dog and 2 kids.
Veteran's United showed a sincere interest in helping me to get a home rather than selling a home. From the very start I had a feeling of ease with Veteran's. To top it all off my first call was on a Saturday afternoon and to my surprise in just a short while I got a call back and immediately started the process.
