I just got notified by mail that my loan is now being handled by PennyMac Services. I called to set up on line payments and I was told there was 53 people ahead of me. They said it was due to the weather. I am at work and can not stay on the line to wait for 53 other people to be handled before me. I called again today and there was 59 people ahead of me.

I guess the thing that upsets me the most was they said if I had to speak to a representative there would be a $15.00 charge. They were encouraging me to complete the information on line but I could not do that because I do not have a 10 digit Penny May Loan Services account number.

This is very frustrating and I am hoping someone can help me this this resolved. Please tell Penny mac to hire more people and show appreciation to their customers.

Jim did an Outstanding Job! He was always on time, almost always early for viewing homes and once we selected our home, guided us to our offer being the one selected. We love our new Home and we have Jim to Thank for it. We will call on Jim again should we need an Agent!!

Being a bit more familiar with California real estate would be good. We were asked several times for HUD1 statements with both parties signatures...they don't do that in California.

You guys are doing such a great job to the extent that my real estate agent is going to refer VU to her clients that are going to use VA loans. All I can advise is to keep marketing and helping veterans. I was actually referred by another veteran and a veteran's wife. I'm glad I took heed.

We chose to use the real estate agent that was recommended by VU primarily because of the $500-$1200 incentive payment we were told we would receive if we used her services. We were only offered one agent, and her level of communication was not at all like the communication we received from everyone at VU. She was often times hard to reach by phone so we had to resort to email, and those emailed correspondences were sometimes filled with more questions than answers. Add to that the fact that she lives nearly an hour away from the community where we were shopping for a home and you get an experience that was very frustrating for us as buyers. I don't necessarily hold VU responsible for her poor performance, but the ONLY reason I chose her was because of the VU recommendation. My advice to VU would be to offer a choice of certified realtors to future home buyers so that they don't feel trapped or cornered into a relationship that isn't to their satisfaction.

Under the pressure of a short sale, I appreciated Bryant having a conventional loan at a great fixed rate I could choose instead with good advice on whether to pay 15% or 20% down. I chose the latter for the best financial outcome. I was offered a better rate with a minimal amount of a partial point to pay and ended up with a superb loan rate. I am going to refer anyone I encounter in the market for a home loan and learned they need not be a Veteran. I am going to put his business card on my employer's bulletin board where our customers include Naval and Coast Guard personnel. I work for West Marine part time as a sales associate. I value great, personable, customer service and I received the same from Bryant and his team member; Derek Fletcher.
