Great experience overall. A couple of things that I wasnt completely satisfied with was the estimates in relations to final costs. The final costs were far from the estimates which was a very confusing experience. The only reason I mention this is because it made it difficult to pre-plan and budget.I believe that more research would result in closer estimates. There were also times that my main Loan officer was our of office and his assistant took over. That was perfectly fine but he wasn't able to punch in and calculate numbers in the beginning during the initial looking of houses. Luckily, it didn't affect much, but potentially could have if we need to place a competitive bid in with other bidders. Another thing that I wasnt too happy with was that there were many times that I wasnt in complete understanding of situations and things that were occurring. As a first time home owner, I would never be able to know real estate abbreviations and terminology. I found that emails were the best form of communication as phone calls were not always successful. Emails we're always answered in a timely manner. Besides the things mentioned, my overall experience was pretty good.
