Ginny and Jocelyn were fantastic. They both worked extremely hard to get my loan processed in a timely manner as well as ensuring it was done correctly. I can not say enough positive things about the two of them. They made an otherwise stressful experience seem a little smoother.

Aaron, along with Johnny Mitchell made this purchase extremely easy and quick. There timely requests for information from us, as well as explanations for all aspects of the process made us feel comfortable, confident, and at ease throughout, what we expected to be a very long and stressful process. There obvious experience made the process relatively short and easy. Out of the many employees you have there, I would hope Aaron and Johnny's customer service would be emulated in everyone.

Where do we begin? Let us start with an email from your company indicating that we were "clear to close". That tells me that we are ready to sign and close the deal. We worked so hard to get all the required documentation needed after we worked for months on our credit. My family and I show up to close, and we could not close. There were two parcels of land that we were purchasing. This some how eluded the six or so people that looked at the contract. Your company had to do all this after our agreed upon closing time and date. At that point, my wife was more than willing to pay all penalties involved with canceling the whole contract so we would not deal with this company for the next 30 years. We lost any confidence we had before we could even close. We moved from Kentucky to Kansas and living out of a hotel until we could close. If we didn't have five kids, we would have walked away from this. Secondly, we had to send the same documents several times. This makes me concerned that the others were lost or misplaced, why would a loan officer and his assistant need required paperwork more than once? Do we really need to fight this company to make money from this deal? Lastly, we really struggled to get a response in a timely manner from our loan officer or his assistant. When we were ready to close, we were under the assumption that we had 0 out of pocket expenses due at closing, because that's what the loan officer told us. We apparently had to cover $200 in closing cost after we agreed that the earnest money was to suffice.


Not only do we not recommend this company to others, we discourage our friends and family from doing any business with them either. We feel like we were just income for their business instead of actual people.

I cannot say enough about the positive experience I received from the entire staff at Veterans Home Loans, from the receptionist that took my calls to an associate of Jake Leves' such as Shan Shaffler that participated in the great overall professional help I received during the process of securing financing for our home. Any time I called or e-mailed, I either received immediate help from Jake or was contacted in a very short time. The professional help I received continued to exceed my expectations throughout the process. Thank you so much.
