I was shocked that less than 24 hours before closing, we were notified that our closing costs had to be paid out of pocket instead of being included in the mortgage. Everyother house I have bought, the closing costs were added into the mortgage. I think that is totally unacceptable . Luckliy I had enough to go through with the purchase, but now I will have to wait on home improvements since the money i was going to use to fix up the house was needed to pay closing costs. What would have happened if I did not have those thousands of dollars to pay the closing costs out of pocket ?

VUHL could improve the home buying process with answering emails and voice messages in a more timely manner. It also seemed that the process took an extremely long time to complete. We would send in paperwork and documents within 24 hours of request but then it seemed our information would sit for days on end without any progress.
