Because this was my first time working with VUHL I was unaware of the steps and what would happen next in the loan process. After coming up with money for the home inspection, I was told I also had to come up with the money for the appraisal which was in the same week. This was not a cheap payment and one I did not expect. My loan officer worked with me on this process to order the appraisal with no up front payment. This is something that needs to be described to the customer ahead of time so that way the customer can plan ahead for any fees that are expected associated with the loan. I would imagine a step by step process on what is expected from the customer in payments for any service be described first and foremost to alleviate any confusion.
My loan officer was spot on he explained every thing g to me made it easier for me to understand.
