If the rules and available properties are scrutinized to such extent that possibilities are out there they Don't meet criteria of the VA. then those properties should be verified and authorized prior to Veterans looking at them. I wasted three months and several Thousand Dollars on properties that were not Fit for VA approval yet I was told they were all VA approved prior to even looking at them. I insisted that those were the only ones I would entertain as viable to put bids on. My Realtor was flabbergasted at the information that transpired after we went months into the process only to find out that "VA Underwriters" had issues with the properties and wouldn't allow them to go VA. What the Heck?????? I thought I only looked at VA approved properties. Yet, VA Underwriters follow a whole set of rules no one else with a brain can figure out. ???????? I have been through a lot of sleepless nights and stressed out configurations , not totally believing that the VA is out to help me be an" American looking for a piece of the Homeland" Having my home be my haven. But would rather me pay some Investor to pay for his/hers. I say to you your Dead wrong. I want nothing more then to call my Home , My Home. Not a place where I live or reside for now until I get asked to move. Thank you for allowing a Honorably Discharged Disabled Veteran with a brain to Buy a Piece of America to park his/ her Butt.
