You loan officer was on the spot when it came to making sure your company got its money every step of the way. He didn't really give a crap about my family or myself, nor did anyone else in your company. You left my family in a hotel room over Christmas because your employees couldn't put forth a little extra effort to get us int our new home befort the holiday. Your company is totaly self centered and is only woried about yourseles and your bottom line. I wiuld never recomend your company to a nother veteran, you obviously do not care about soldiers just yourselves.
Underwriters were frustrating with some demands
My overall experience with VA Home loans was good. I want to say it was excellent but unfortunately there were some issues towards the end that prevent an excellent rating. My recommendation are, although the loan officer was very informative and communicative, at times information given was inaccurate or incomplete. I understand there are circumstances where there is not a perfect answer, but when I am told things will happen a certain way then I expect it to be so. For example, I was told that tax, insurance and HOA fees will all be put together in escrow, so I planned accordingly with the numbers given. Then, I find out from the closing company that it is not the way I anticipated. That can be a problem with people that are on a tight budget because their decision to continue on with the loan is based on the numbers given to them. The same goes with the closing amount, when the closing company tells you that I should have had an accurate closing amount instead of paying and additional of $1,000.00 at closing, especially during the holidays. Dont get me wrong, I am very appreciative of the help and professionalism given to me in this whole process; however a less fortunate service member might not be able to follow through with these monetary discrepancies.

The biggest problem that I had was that when ever more paperwork or information was needed from me, it most often asked for late on Friday afternoons, if I needed to reach anyone they were already gone for the day, and even if I was able to send the information back ASAP, it would have to sit in a email inbox for the weekend, until when someone came in to get them. Also due to time difference between your office and where I live sometimes reaching someone was a challenge
