There were to many people involed in our loan. This cause great stress. Seemed like we had to do alot of the work for the loan to go through.
Time efficiency could be improved. Our appraisal process was in my opinion inefficient. After receiving the short sale approval, it took a while to get an appraiser out to the property while we were on a very tight time schedule, trying to get it done before the approval expired. VUHL also missed one of the required repairs on the appraiser's report that needed to be done prior to closing until the very last minute, requiring us to scramble to get it done. I hope that this type of thing doesn't occur often.
They could try to communicate with the veteran, who wants this to go as smoothly as possible. Don't wait till the end of the day to tell us we need something sent again, let us know asap so it can be taken care of and we don't lose a day, or in our case several days do to delays in information. Let the veteran help as much as they can, give us a list and we'll complete it not all vet's have problems following instructions..
Keep up what your doing
better communication within the loan officers and assistants. stuff from titling company had been sent to vuhl but wasn't received by loan officer for over a week later due to someone else handling and not notifying the correct personnel.
Do not ask for more documentation when the buyers and sellers are at closing, or for another $1000 to come out of thin air. Don't say everything is set to close and it is not. Feel free to overestimate funds needed and time needed and don't say "yes" to appease the client when you can't fulfill your end of the bargain.
Make it a faster, smoother, and more organized process.
