Better communication during the VA appraisal process and better organization at closing. Perhaps it was just circumstances (house had to be re-appraised after work completion), but it did seem like follow-through/communication dipped towards the end.

I know that when many people are involved in a transaction, it is a challenge to get information passed along accurately. My only suggestion is to find a way for everyone to be on the same page, especially when it comes to closing the loan. The only trouble we experienced was when it was time to sign the documents.
I think a faster response to questions would be appreciated. I realize that each loan is just another loan to your organization. To the person buying the house it affects everything they are trying to do with their life at that time. Many decisions and contacts are based upon what happens in the mortgage process.
