Documents should be asked for in advance and set proper expectations with the client fromt he start.
Have a better idea in the beginning of all the documentation you require instead of continually coming up with more and more needed documents; especially AFTER you have approved the loan!

The loan underwriter/processor should accept on-line bank statements. There will be a day when hard copy statements will be obsolete. There was a lack of trust that I found annoying and unnecessary. When a person has $260,000 in an IRA do you really think he/she would default on a retirement home loan?? It was unnecessary for me to show income from my IRA to satisfy the loan underwriter. IRAs are every liquid and money can be taken out as needed.
on line site to the all document in case we would be over seas that would make things easy to accesses but over all the loan officer was really good and really knows what he was doing
In my experience, no improvement necessary !!Great people, awesome customer service!
Our experience with your company has been nothing but positive. Scott Ratliff was our key contact and we really cannot say enough about how wonderful he was. Scott always kept us informed about what to expect during this process, which helped with the stress level on our side. He explained all the in's and out's of working with the Veteran's Administration. The only time that there really was stress, Scott reassured us that this was a normal thing and not to worry. The entire team that we worked with during this time was wonderful. The realtor that was referred to us did a fantastic job, too. And the rest of your team were very responsive to our questions and were very professional. Thanks to Scott and all the rest of you, we have a beautiful home. This was a dream of ours that we had given up on due to life's circumstances. We wish we could meet you all in person and thank each of you individually.Sincerely,Tom and Joleen Squire
A bit better tittle company and some of the Under writing is a bit overboard
Everyone was great to work with. We were told, well in advance, of everything we needed to submit. The only thing we did not like was a couple of times when an email was sent to us letting us know of items VUHL needed, (it addressed personal information such as bank account balance information), the email was also sent to our real estate agent. We didn't think that information needed to be sent to the real estate agent. Other than that, everything went wonderfully well. We would use VUHL again if needed, and we will definitely recommend VUHL to any veteran we know of needing a home loan. Thank you.
