We really didn't have any big problems with the process. There were some errors on the closing paperwork we signed with the notarty. Things like name misspellings, so if we had to suggest an improvement it would be closer attention to detail on things like that. But, overall, things went smoothly and Barby was on the ball! We did say several times we were glad we had a competent loan officer.
We don't think any improvement is needed.

The loan officer was never involved or did anything to help us once we got the loan process started. We had an intermediate person to deal with on a daily basis. The people at your company were very slow to respond to calls and e-mails regarding our account. We had numerous times where there would be weeks without any word on what was going on concerning our loan. If we wanted information, we had to beg to get it. The overall experience was very disappointing and went on much longer than we were told. When we would ask why, it was often met with we are trying to find out but then it may be days or weeks before we heard anything. I will not now nor ever recommend your company and will do everything that I can to be sure the people I know do not get caught in the same trap with you that we did.
All your loan processers should provide a copy of Va's guidlines for what they consider to be move in ready. My first one did not.

Everything went very smoothly actually. Nothing I would change. I already recommended you to a friend (Michael Kelly) and I now he was doing the pre-approval paper work last time I checked.
Put together a list of all the kinds of paperwork you expect a person to need before closing. We had an inheritance and notified VU about it months in advance of closing. We provided a letter from the solicitors as requested a month out from closing. Three days before closing VU asked for a copy of the will. This is info we could have used when we provided the letter.
I do not know how you could improve all of the people I worked with were great.
