Working with VU was great for me as a veteran. However, VU also caused a lot of heart ache in the process and with my spouse. She is a military spouse that has had breaks in employment because she’s a military spouse. She’s consistently had high income when we were stable, despite that, VU required almost a dozen job justification letters and gap in employment letters. The first time was justifiable, the 8th was not. Also, for being the only POC with the VA inspector, I didn’t feel the team did a good job of holding the VA inspector to a timeline and this directly lead to a delay in getting our signing done and caused us to pay VU additional fees to secure our rate. This was problematic and stressful. Overall, the team did fine, but it was a hard process that was not made much easier.
Veterans United worked tirelessly to get us the best deal and a great opportunity to consolidate debt and get closer to reaching out financial goals.

We are so grateful and so happy that we chose not to listen to the others saying couldn't be done. From day 1 I asked Alex to be honest and he was from the start. I explained that we had been through the ringer and do not want to be sugar coated. The team was great and any time we had questions they were right there. The website was absol great for keeping us in the loop of "what's next-to do " It took us 6 mos. to finally say we own our house bc of lack of caring from previous loan agent. That did not happen here. Best company by far . Hands down rec. to everyone.

Well I’ve said it many times before and I’m sure I’ll say it many times again but the whole team and I mean team because from start to finish I talked to a lot of people that are a part of the team and they made my life so much easier than what I had heard from other people who hadn’t used VU and Leanna and the team made buying a home a very enjoyable event
