Overall I had a great experience and a amazing team! Nick Berardini is great at his job. Regardless of any upcoming roadblocks and challenges he will do everything in his power to ensure your loan gets approved! Very pleasant to work with for your home needs
My Real estate agent Cesar is excellent. He was always on top of his game, on time, and ready to answer any questions that I may have. He is very patient and has your best interest in mind when helping you shop for a home!

I was approached to purchase the home I was renting by the homeowner. I felt unprepared to buy but didn’t want the opportunity to pass me up. Veterans United made the for sale by owner transaction a breeze! Thank you to the VU team that was with me beginning to end.

Working with veterans united has been a pleasure. All I had to do was sign papers and pay the fees. The team took the stress off my shoulders. They were always super informative and always quick to answer my questions.

Even though I was stressed the whole time, because this was the first home that I have bought, United Veterans and my team worked with me to make it go smoothly. Thank you

Was a hassle free experience. The team got me everything I needed in a quick and easily accessible way.

Patrick and Shan were great to work with initially. When it came to getting almost all my documents set up, they along with the layout of the website, made that process pretty easy. However, when it came to crunch time and closing was coming up, a few things seemed to fall out. First, my agent and I were not told that closing was pushed back until the day of. This was also when communication became tough. I made very clear at the beginning of our conversations that I work on the West Coast and do not work normal hours. I also usually don't know my schedule until the day before and spend a lot of my day in collateral workspaces (where I am not allowed to have my phone on me for security reasons). This seemed to become an issue when we got towards closing since I was missing calls and instructions regarding the next steps to take and by the time I called back, they would be out of the office and we would be playing phone tag for awhile. When we finally got a date for closing, I was sent the wire transfer documents from Chicago Title with the wrong down-payment information on them so I did not sign the documents. I received these documents at 4:50pm PST so by the time I was able to get to them and review them, no one was available in the Veterans United office to answer my question as to why the information on them was incorrect. To follow this up, I received a call from Veterans United the next day asking why I didn't sign. When I told them why I was also informed that the interest rate had expired since I did not sign. After a phone conversation with my realtor, Patrick and Shan, I was informed that my "Receipt of Gift Funds" document and bank account information was incorrect (after previously being told that it was all good). This caused a lot of hiccups over a span of about two or three days that apparently could have been detrimental to the homebuying process and added an unexpected amount of stress to an already stressful experience. The overall problem I had was that, even though I could have been more thorough making sure my form was correct and my bank account was properly linked, I was informed that I was all good and Jake and Shan were ready to go ahead with the closing with the improper amount of funds disclosed without question. I appreciate the work that was put in after this became a problem and the guys were able to get me the initial interest rate even though it had expired. I know that was not an easy process for anyone, so I do appreciate the work that went into that.

I greatly appreciate the ease at how Veterans United worked with me to make my home buying successful. I would highly recommend Veterans United to any veteran considering purchasing a home!

I chose veterans United because of the mass amount of good reviews and a well established platform to make the home buying process easy. Once I created an account I was surprised to be contacted so early to start my home search which was amazing along with the tactical home buying kit we received to mount a flag at our new home. The entire process was effortless and documents were completed all within their application on my phone. My wife thinks I did all of the hard work getting documents signed and uploaded but honestly it took minutes on my phone. We closed within 30 days on the house we love with zero issues!
