Working with my VU team was such a pleasure. I also want to mention/shoutout Taylor Fruits, prior to moving my search to Mississippi she was on my Memphis Loan Team. She was so dedicated and in constant communication along with intermittent check-ins while I was not actively looking at the time. She supported me and allowed me time to figure out what I wanted in a home without pressuring or rushing me to quicken my home search. Honestly, I can't say enough about how smooth of a process this was. Going into the mortgage I was a bit skeptical and worried I would be taken for a ride. Jake was able to secure 18 days of escrow which was the main reason they accepted our offer. He then followed up on that by jumping through hurdles and solving every single problem we faced. I will absolutely be recommending Jake & Veterans United to all of my buddies who might be starting the home buying journey. My first call with Jake was in 2021. He continued to follow-up (without being pushy) when the time came to work he worked his magic and now I'm a home owner.
