With the exception of seller issues, this was one of the smoothest processes we have been through. The team kept in constant communication, responded quickly to any questions or concerns. Honestly, I think the blame lies with your corporate structure. You probably need to look two or three layers above Chris’s pay grade. And your underwriting department seems to be almost hostile towards small business owners. We’ve owned a business for several years and refinanced homes, and have never had the type of questions and scrutiny That we had with your company. At one point I told Kole that it seemed like the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. And I still believe that with your corporation. It was a very, very disappointing experience and highly stressful. It took the joy out of purchasing a new home.

Veterans United seems to understand the needs of veterans and their families on a level we've not encountered at other banks and credit unions. While the paperwork necessary to finance a home purchase is mountainous, the team working with us from Veterans United is always pleasant, patient, and positive.
