I never wanted to buy a house because all the horror stories, and all the paperwork, etc. This team made the process feel effortless! Thank you all!

I had been working hard on increasing credit and still felt that being a homeowner was going to be impossible. We had even downsized to a small trailer to help save money but then our youngest son ended up having to stay at his grandfather's house. It seemed like we were stuck in a never ending loop of rent payments to live in a home that not only wasn't ours but wasn't big enough for the whole family. I truly don't know what I would have done without Veterans United. They helped guide me every step of the way from credit advice to closing day. I'm so happy and proud to say now me and my family have a home and we're all together again.

Honestly, I started this process extremely sceptically. I've always been taught - and learned - that no one has your best interest at heart like you do. I never heard of Veterans United but I'm glad I learned about them at a time when so much was going wrong in my life. I had a rough permanent change of station move from Germany but working with Tyler and his team made buying a home a reality. I've learned a lot and have already recommended VU to other Service Member thinking about buying their first home. One of the best features is the To Do List and videos explaining the documents I needed to sign. I also did some research on my home but they these features on the app was definitely needed to put one's mind at ease


Maybe its common sense, it would be helpful to new homeowners if there was a checklist for turning over utilities so that way there is no lapse.

When we first met Travis Ward, he was just a loan officer. After a few months of interaction with Travis, he became our trusted friend. Travis is warm and articulates. He knows his product very well. He took his time to explain all of our questions within 24 hours. Besides those outstanding attributes, what stand out the most about Travis are he is very patient and his ability to listen to our questions/concerns, he waited for us to finish our questions completely before he responds.
