This was a stressful time in our lives, much like the world due to Covid. I lost 14 family members, 2 due to Covid. Then my husband's aunt passes from COPD, 9 months later he looses his mom, also from COPD. I'm not done yet, in the middle of this my Daddy is loosing blood, he's diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer from Vietnam chemical exposures.
I took a deep breath let my own ailing disabled husband, who is 100 disabled through the VA, myself included. I looked at my husband and said to him, I will quit my job with Maine Department of Labor, move us out of our condo and we will make it to your dad's house.
This is do to Veterans United. Without you I wouldn't be sitting here with my husband allowing him to appreciate everything you and entire team along with myself have done. Now I can work on his health in a home he grew up in. The very home we hospice his mom in.
