Smoothest home loan I've ever been through. Very easy to deal with and the technology used to collect needed information for closing was easy to use. I've purchased 5 homes in my life and this was by far the easiest process.
My experience with Veterans United was complicated. In my experience, the different departments have a big disconnect. One dept. tells another dept. what is required without telling them why. So when underwriting requires one thing they will let loan officers, but don't explain why. so when u inquire they have to go back and fourth to understand why and still don't completely know why. My loan officer did everything she was supposed to but struggled to because underwriting gave vague requests without explaining why. There was issues just days before closing with my account that almost ruined me financially but the higher ups stepped in and fixed it at the 12 th hour. All in all, my loan officer did the best she could with the tools she had available. I'm just glad that I don't have to do this process ever again.
