VU ultimately did a great job about explaining the loan process and answering any questions I had. I wish they had a chat feature or someway besides phone call and email that is more prompt as there were a few instances where I had double back weeks later due to no response. That said, regardless, the team I worked with was very thorough and made me feel comfortable about any decisions or questions I had! Would recommend to my loved ones and really appreciate my team and all their hard work!
Use Veterans United if you want a fast, quality service that only wants to take care of you and get you through the home buying process. Our loan officer, Nathan Bitner took care of us and did a great job communicating with our entire home buying team. He even went the extra mile and got us out of a bottleneck with an external agency, averting a late close and getting us into our house on-time. Thanks to the entire VU team for a pleasant experience!
My husband and I have past experience with home buying. This is the first time I got a whole team. I like the fact that everyone in the team was in the know and if one was not available, someone else answered in a timely manner. I want to say thank you for the thoughtful gifts i recieved when i first applied for the loan and when my offer was accepted. It was a very nice gesture. Buying a home from another state was less complicated than I thought it would be with this great team on my side
From day one I could call Gwen or Holly at any time and they would answer and help in any way possible. It was incredible it felt like I had a family friend helping us through the whole process. I know if I ever get another house I hope I can work with these two again.

VU offers competitive rates, but their loan officers seem to miss the mark on open and honest communication. Unfortunately you probably won't know your loan officer is a dud until its too late. If you can find a better offer or even one that is remotely close to VU somewhere else, take it and avoid the VU headaches.

It took me almost 1 year to find the perfect home for me and my 3 dogs vu/ my realtor we patient what ever questions or issue I had they had the answers and resolved them my dogs and I love our new home
