You talk about going above and beyond, I cracked a joke about not having a real flag pole. Two weeks later I received a flag, flag pole light, and 25’ telescope flag pole. I was floored when I seen who sent it. It was the best gift to a new home a veteran like myself could have gotten. I will be sending a photo when I get the pole installed on the property. Use Veterans United Home Loans if you are Veteran homebuyer!!! Don't believe anyone who says that it's not worth the hassle. There is no hassle. From pre-approval through closing, the team will guide you through the process. Another agent attempted to discourage me from using a VA by saying that sellers did not want to be bothered. I'm glad that I didn't listen! The VA appraisal was lower than the asking price, but the gap wasn't significant and the seller lowered their price.
