I encourage any Veteran looking for a home loan from another lender, to do their homework first. Veterans United have many tutorials that will walk everyone through the process, step by step. I would recommend reviewing the tutorials, especially for first time home seekers.
Dustin and Emily made my life easier when it came to buying my first home. They answered all my questions and was always there to help when I had more questions to ask about the home buying process and little details. 10 out of 10 I would recommend them to anyone from my friends and family.

My VU experience was phenomenal. They provided an entire team to help me with my process. Credit Consultant who helps you to understand your credit. Working with Stephanie helped me to understand that I didn't know as much as I thought. Home Buying Concierge who helps with information with buying a new home and side questions. Once I found my home, Kristen helped by providing a to do list for me with all contact information for movers, utilities, home security, etc. A Loan officer, Tim helped with all things money and Jen my Loan coordinator helped with everything else, let me know when documents were needed, if schedules changed, etc. I would highly recommend using Veterans United for your mortgage needs. But get your own Realtor. Maybe they are not all bad - but I had at least three teams and they were not helpful at all. It seem to me they were working for their benefit and the benefit of the seller and not me. Thanks to Wayne Lee and Pennie Moore - I have my new home.
