I tried a few different lenders in my search for a mortgage, starting Fall of 2021. All of them disregarded my financial situation up until the pandemic shutdown the world, and my current status. They actually asked me if I could "explain why I lost money in 2020"! Apparently they forgot about the whole world losing money in 2020!
