Veteran’s United truly made our crazy home buying situation so easy! They were on top of their stuff and were able to have us all squared away and ready to close on our house so fast! Our loan officer Stephen was so quick to respond to us and answer any questions we had. We felt like he became apart of the family! We will always refer our fellow military members to Veteran’s United and specifically Stephen if we can!
The entire transaction went very smoothly and a lot quicker then we expected.
Great support and a smooth loan process. Highly recommended!
I am very pleased with my team . Everyone was very helpful throughout the whole process . Veterans united is a go to. I would recommend it to anyone when buying a house , especially my team.

Andy Strubel and his Veterans United team were amazing to work with. I cannot recommend them enough and I certainly will every time. They were all available to us any time we had questions and seemed like they really cared about us and our story. I just can not put into words how great it was to work with this team.
Very pleased.

I just figured that everything was gonna be a lot harder than it was. We had a few hurdles that we were up against and it didn’t seem to take long at all to overcome them. Everyone was professional and quick to do what they needed to do to close on the house. again I appreciate everyone’s help in putting together everything that needed to be done to close on a timely fashion. thanks
The VA was simply incredible with helping us. And props to a great agent Paul Olson, outstanding agent and person as well. Get him if you can, he bent over backwards for us.
My team did everything and more in order to make this home purchase happen. My family and I are grateful for every second they put in to make this purchase happen.
I just wanna Thank everyone for making this transition easy and comfortable as possible. Great Group!
Thank you! Veterans United, you were my first!
Why shouldn't I be seeking legal action? Somebody, fluffing anybody needs to make this right to me. My hot water heater didn't even work when I got here. None of my new appliances are new as advertised. The place wasn't cleaned or painted properly. Garbage disposal hooked up illegally. Most things in this house aren't up to code. $450 For a home inspection that said none of this. Eight hundred and fifty for an appraisal that didn't catch anything either. I can't recommend anybody that I'm really thinking about contacting a lawyer about. You took advantage of the fact that I could not be here to see it in person. Instead of seeking legal action, I'd prefer if somebody would make it right.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Joseph,
I’m really sorry to hear about the issues you’re facing with your new home. This sounds incredibly frustrating, especially when you’ve invested so much into making this place your own. The last thing anyone wants is to move into a home and be met with these kinds of challenges.
While we don’t control the condition of the home, the VA appraisal mainly focuses on the property’s value and basic safety standards rather than a detailed inspection. We do recommend a thorough home inspection for exactly these reasons, but I completely understand how upsetting it is that the inspection didn’t catch these major issues.
We’d love to dive deeper into what happened and see how we can help, even if it’s just guiding you to the next best step. If the items you mentioned were listed in the contract but weren’t completed, we can definitely look into that. Or, if things were overlooked during the inspection, that’s another route we can help investigate. You can contact our Client Advocate team at 1-800-212-5200 or email us at ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We’re in the office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Monday through Friday, but please feel free to reach out anytime.
