This is my 6th home purchase (thanks to the military life style) and my third home buying experience with VU. Being in the housing market as someone who has never bought a house, is a overwhelming and scary feeling. The fact that I have just closed and am now moving in is crazy to me, they really did above and beyond for me, they made me feel safe, secure and informed. The overall experience was def new to me as a first time home buyer and I was expecting a more smoother and efficient process. I was disappointed with the lack of communication and or urgency with the title company and the lenders stepping in and providing the necessary documentation to get the close down in a timely manner. I had to change my day off 3 times due to the closing date not happening on the day it was suppose to and I am glad my job was very accommodating in letting me switch my day off.
