My overall experience was excellent! I had a thousand questions and got a thousand answers. I started the process with hopes of a fresh start and Veterans United was able to give me just that!! Thank you to the entire team for making this a rewarding and relatively easy process.
It was incredibly difficult to know where I was in the process and had to ask every day in order to find out what was going on. It seemed like things were only happening if i asked about them. I wouldn’t hear anything from my team for a few days then when i asked for an update there just happened to be a bunch of things I needed to take care of to move forward. I feel like if I wasn’t on the phone with them my case was forgotten entirely. Near the end I had taken vacation because I was told it was extremely likely that we’d close in time. We ended up closing a week later than suggested. My ex wife was able to call and obtain a tremendous amount of information with no security confirmation from myself. There are so many different issues I had along the way but everything negative happened after I had paid deposits and fees so I could not afford to walk away. I’m very upset with how things turned out and from an organization that caters to veterans I am appalled at the way things were handled.
