Outstanding!

Very easy to work with. Great team and great people. We are very happy with our results.

Veterans should be aware that VUHLoans is a mortgage brokerage company that is overseen by the Veterans Administration. I experienced major complications with an appraiser selected by the VA. VUHL has no control over who is selected and cannot personally rate the appraisal process. There were delays in getting the appraisal which also included a home inspection that duplicated the inspection I paid to a Licensed Home Inspector.
I was not provided with the appraisers “reinspection Failure report” until one day before the scheduled closing date. This delay could have been avoided somewhere up the chain of review by the VA!
Vets need to schedule plenty of time in their Due Diligence Period for a repair request and adequate time for completion of the repairs which then necessitates that the appraiser or a licensed building contractor does a Reinspection and certifies everything was done to code.

I personally liked their website and how they told you where in the process your loan was at. The “To-Do’s” page was nice to just be able to see what they wanted and work through it.

Made buying a house alot easier than I thought it would be!!

Veterans United made the whole process of buying a home easy, and they were always there to help whenever I had a question. Their website makes it easy to keep track of what you need to complete, so you can close on your home in time. Great to work with. Thank you!

Thank you Veterans United! Y’all made buying a house super easy.

Veterans United is a big company with many offices across the country, but unfortunately my office in Killeen, TX did not serve me well. The only reason I wouldn’t tell someone to stay away from Veterans United is because I had a good experience with their corporate office to get pre approval and I do believe if I had stuck with that office my loan might have gone smoother. I would not recommend going to the Killeen, TX office, although I do believe in second chances and hopefully they can take my feedback and grow from it and be able to help out the next veteran. I was able to get a good rate from VU and their online portal is easy to use and submit documents which did make the process a lot smoother. I defiantly had some issues with my loan officer but I know everyone can have different experiences.

The team that I was assigned was available and they ensured that I was aware of any changes constantly. The team definitely was knowledgeable and professional.

Isaac Cater was very helpful and guided us through our first home purchase together! 2 thumbs up!
