Veterans United is absolutely the way to go for VA loans. I had initially worked with a few other banks as I was shopping for the best rate. When it comes down to it, Veterans United knows the VA loan system inside and out, and we had a very specific situation we had to deal with since we are retiring from the military and moving across the country to our newly constructed home. All kinds of pitfalls that other banks ended up wrapped up on. I came to Veterans United and they navigated our specifics with ease! Absolutely outstanding customer service. There is a reason these guys close some of the largest numbers of VA loans per year, they KNOW how to do it, and they do it well!

I was less than impressed with the company's organization. Multiple times I had to send information twice to two different representatives. The closing agent was unavailable during closing. The cash to close was also incorrectly calculated twice.
