Alot more back and forth from underwriter needing irrelevant documents than other veteran friendly lenders. (I have used 2 others in the past, so I'm not speaking out of turn). VERY hard to get ahold of someone and rarely a returned call to answer important questions. They were friendly, and I understand they are busy with other people but I feel like I should still be able to get a return call and not have to do the legwork that is their responsibility. Even with all of the extra work my wife did, we still closed over a week late. Overall not the worst and I got a good rate, but I don't think I'll use them next time.
Veterans united was very easy to work with, made a difficult process very simple. The refinancing was almost entirely done with my phone. They were there for me the entire time.

When there were changes I was quickly notified. My agent and his team made me feel at ease. Even though the seller wasn’t ready to close on our agreed date, Aaron and his team made sure I was ready on my end!
