Veterans United Home Loans is by far the best company to go to if you are a Veteran. The communication is transparent and timely. No matter your situation they offer solutions and next steps to achieve your homebuying goals. As a Veteran I appreciated their ability to keep me calm even through the underwriting process. Jonathan Lucas, Codi McDowell, and James Walker are stellar in their delivery of information, clear understanding of what it takes to utilize the VA home buying benefit, and above all their positive outlook from start to finish. The homebuying process comes with a host of emotions. This team and and this company made my dream of owning a home into a reality!
I will always recommend Justin at Veteran’s United to any vet looking to buy a home. He is the best!

Quick and easy. These guys know their stuff and keep you informed and walk you through every step. Thank you Kris Carmichael for making this process so easy and getting me and my family our dream home on 7 acres. Any vet looking to get a home these guys get it done and keep you informed the whole way.
Scott Devoto and Nina Chaplain were amazing! They worked hard to get my house closed in a month!
My closing date got pushed back twice wven though I was incredibly prompt with all requests, typically compelling everything within an hour. My appraiser went off the grid for weeks before anyone told me there was an issue and I had to call the VA myself to get an answer. In the end, we closed 4 days later than scheduled and my loan coordinator was often unresponsive to calls and texts. She would occasionally email but there were weeks at a time where I didn't know what was going on with my loan. Even on closing day, we waited at the real estate attorney's office for over 1.5 hours past our scheduled closing time for VU to send the closing packet over.
Response from Veterans United
Hello Nathaniel, we appreciate your feedback on this matter. Our team will be researching your appraisal process to determine what our team may do in the future to help prevent a similar closing delay. The appraisal process is managed directly by the Department of Veterans Affairs, and we understand how the home buying process can become stressful when working to overcome an unexpected delay. It is our goal to provide consistent and personable communication through a dedicated Loan Specialist. We would like to learn more about that experience and invite you to reach out to your Client Advocate team here at Veterans United to discuss further details on your recent experience. Providing information to our team will help us assist in training and education that will better assist further veterans
If it's your first time buying a home, definitely give Veterans United a call. They'll show you everything you need to know step my step and answer any questions along the way. Would highly recommend them to all my military family.
Rachael Priest specifically seemed to go above and beyond the call of duty, but the whole team and everyone I talked to was polite, well spoken, and knowledgeable!
We are very pleased with the service, speed of transaction, flexibility, and staff.
