I had a wonderful home buying experience with Veterans United. Thank you all for everything. Will and Madison was awesome.

This is my second time using Veterans United and the service was great the first time and extraordinary this time.

When I saw the numbers the first time and said I didn’t want my loan amount to be more than the specified amount and I was told it wouldn’t be. Then, after closing, I saw the terms “finance charges” and “actual dollar amount” with the figures being 60k more. It was a shock to me and these were not explained to me. If I had been made more aware of these things (I asked a lot of questions about the contract in its entirety), I’d have made different decisions in the home buying process. It wasn’t that they were not helpful or professional, otherwise. They were.I also was unaware that this national lender doesn’t have people in other time zones to accommodate for all time zones and not just Missouri’s. This made the process cumbersome for me and other involved parties here on the West Coast. Finally, yet another company penalizes its employees for a less than perfect review score every time. They are people and not robots. This is cruel and while it may seem like it is a good practice because it gets results, it isn’t optimal anyway. Rewarding and not overworking employees is even more effective.I won’t continue to work with any company whose executive level is so draconian with employees to where they feel the need to pressure customers to give a perfect score review which also affects the validity of said scores. This is the biggest reason right. Stop doing that! It’s evil. Your workers deserve better.

Easily one of the most painless experiences I've had in a long time. Roughly 3 weeks from the time I contacted VU until I closed. Highly recommended.

My 4th home purchase, and by far my best experience! MyVU portal was very easy to use, and the communication was seamless! An amazing experience!

Nick did an amazing job for my home loan! He always responded back to me with any questions I had immediately whether it was nights or weekends. I’m a realtor for Celebrity Homes and he is a preferred lender I have sent him clients over the years and he has done a phenomenal job I trust him and now have personally worked with him for my own home! I highly recommend working with him!

For individuals with 750+ credit scores, perfect credit history, and returning customers, better initial rates should be offered than "industry standards." Veterans that meet the above criteria should be offered better rates if an organization is going to call itself Veterans United. The only reason we return to Veterans United is because of Shannon Workman.

Truly made first time home buying so wonderful, even the super stressful part of closing. The whole team was great! Would recommend Veterans United to all of my veteran friends.

If you want a good ribeye then go to a buffet; if you want a great ribeye, go to a stake house. If you want a good lender then go to your local bank, but if you want a GREAT lender, go to Veterans United!

They made the process so smooth and simple. Buying a house is complicated but I believe VU makes it as easy as humanly possible.

too shy

We will definitely be in touch with Albert come time for a refi.

My team of Katie, Jorge and Kylie made this process so easy for buying my first home! Any question I had, they were always there with the answer. Best TEAM ever!

I love Veterans United

Purchasing a home can be a life changing event and a major investment. This whole process was made extremely easy by the knowledgeable staff. Additionally, it was an extremely quick process. From finding the right house to closing was three weeks.

Great job overall

More than I expected. We had a really rough time with the appraisal. Jessi was a rock for me and my wife. She was there to calm the nerves and smile when we needed it. Andy he was the calm before the storm. Me and my wife were ready to start all over when the appraisal came in. Andy and Yvonne kept us informed and up to date on what was going on. I don't know what went on behind the scenes but Andy made eveything happen for the good. Mywife and I are in your debt. And as the saying goes " Happy wife ,happy life". Thank you to the entire team for the happy life.

Speaking with friends about buying a home and hearing the "nightmares" that went with it I was a little hesitant at first. However, with the guidance and knowledge of the team at Veterans United I felt this was as smooth and effortless as possible. It's unfortunate that Veterans United can't be offered to everyone out there buying homes and helping to make dreams come true!
