Shane was the typical mortgage broker who does as little as possible. He answered my questions, with the same ones he had used hundreds of times before. Processing and closing was a nightmare, and I found lower rates after it was too late. Let's see if this makes it to the "FINE PRINT"

Veterans United is a wonderful resource for veterans and the military. They are very helpful and can answer any questions you have. The customer service is like no other and are available 24/7 if you need to reach them. My experience with the organization is one of its own in my life time. Hardly did I make a call that was never returned if I missed them, or I was put on hold like in those other places you know. It is definitely worth it. Try it and you will confirm yourself.

Smooth process for a first home buyer but there were some small bumps in the road. However with the help of a good realtor and online support staff everything ended out great & in a timely manner on their end.


There should possibly be changes considered to how you connect homeowners with real estate teams- Shelby was phenomenal for us because she was a good fit for our needs. The first agent I am sure was phenomenal for someone but was definitely a poor fit from us- and at first when I tried to politely say this you all encouraged she stay with us. Instead of calling me- you called her- makes no sense. Talk to YOUR CUSTOMERS- FULLY understand their needs- then ACT...it would fix so much. Again, using Shelby (our second realtor we connected with) was amazing but only because I advocated and didn’t just say “okay.”Please give Jordan Roach all of our praise- she’s the kind of rockstar that has kept us using VU.Unfortunately I don’t know that we will ever return to VU, and I surely will not recommend VU after this past transaction. It’s been disappointing to say the least.
