Veterans United did a super job on my Home Loan. They were outstanding in every aspect! The process was very easy and intuitive. I highly recommend Veterans United
to any one who is interested in financing a home.
2 issues:
1. You don’t accept notarized paperwork from overseas (for those deployed) even ones from US Embassies. This caused my processed to be delayed 8 months and a higher interest rate than initially quoted(thanks)
2. Having to call Experian or whichever credit agency for the process; they are worthless; called them (7) times before I finally got in touch; then they couldn’t do their job right. So I called USAA direct and had the task done in under 10min.My opinion; if you are to cater to veterans; please remember that veterans are not only in the states but overseas. I was very close to just saying to hell with y’all and going with someone who had an easier process, probably got a lower interest rate.
Veteran’s United was pretty amazing and easy to work with. They were completely supportive throughout the entire process, ensuring I was free of anxiety. There wasn’t a time that I felt like I didn’t know what was going on and I appreciated that. I would recommend them to anyone.
