Not being told until the night before I was supposed to close on my new home that we would not be able to until the following week and having to email multiple people to find that out was very frustrating. If I had just been told that to begin with earlier in the week, it would've been no big deal. That lack of communication negatively affected my family, the sellers and our realtors.

I heard about Veterans United from a friend and decided to research their rates and reviews. I was surprised I had not heard of the company before now. I had planned to go with a traditional institution that focuses on military families and VA loans. But after talking with Kyle, I switched tracks and I’m happy I did so.
This is our second time working with this team, and it is always pleasant.
My experience was overwhelmingly positive. Veterans United moves through the process at the speed of light. The only issue I have is that by the time my clear to close came through, I did not have the option to buy my rate down to the new lowest rate Veterans United offered (2.25% at the time of my closing). That would have saved us nearly $100/mo and would have been fantastic. But it didn't happen.
Jamie and Connor did a fantastic job helping me get my loan with veterns united. I had a difficult loan profile that took a lot of time and effort and they made sure it went smooth and closed on time.

During this process there were no unanswered questions, with our assigned VU team, to include ones we did not think to ask!
The loan process was for the most part excellent. The appraiser drop the ball and I got extended. Which cost me more money including an extra month of Bill's not expected. The appraiser should be held accountable. Additionally, the coe for vets should heen ordered asap. Not 2 weeks prior to closing
