Overall a very fine tuned team. I have no complaints with them at all. Everyone knew what they were doing, they worked to the best of their ability, and they made this process much easier than I expected.
Ryan Ewing and Justin Wandel has my vote!!! Veterans United is too awesome. Had a few hiccups during the COVID time frame, but my loan went from application processed on 29 MAY to underwriting on 11 JUN. They pushed hard and I am in the final stages of underwriting approval after meeting the conditions. If you work hard to get the documents back in time, they can push hard to get it done. Expecting to close NLT 22 JUN (and we did!!!). So, anyone saying VA loans can take almost 45 days to get it done hasn't worked with Ryan and Justin. Outstanding people and outstanding professionals. Make sure you ask for this team cause they are top notch!!!!
After this experience with Veterans United, I would never go anywhere else for a loan. They were right on top of everything and all the steps to get to closing were laid out so they were easy to understand. It was an amazing experience and I am now a proud first time home buyer!

His responsiveness shows that I was a priority. Getting in touch with me on a daily basis, and timely replies to my emails throughout the entire process. Aside from addressing most of my concerns, He took the time to ask me questions to determine what financial option would benefit me the most.
Finally, due to his organized, I was able to submit all required documents and complete the to-do list with ease.
VHU had more faith in the process than I did! I just happened to call to see if and how much I could qualify to purchase a home. That was the hardest part of the process, that first phone call! After that, VHU took the lead and walked me through the process until completion. I'm still in awe that I am in the house of my dreams!!! Erin and Grace were such a pleasure to work with. From the pre-approval process, all the way through closing day, Erin and her team kept me up to date and thoroughly explained any questions I had. With so many lenders out there today, we are so glad we chose Veterans United Home Loans. Our first experience with them 5 years ago to purchase our home was next to none in the customer service department. This time around during a refinance they were outstanding in walking us through a process we had never been through before. I recommend using Veterans United if you want an awesome experience that includes kindness, knowledge, and personable professional customer service.
My only complaint with Veterans United is the slow response time on Sundays. Otherwise they were very responsive, helpful, and overall pleasant to work with!
