Oh my gosh, we wanted to write a review for Veterans United. Being a 3 time homeowner this company was the best! They know loans, they know the VA. Great rates, great people! Our team, Derek Russell, Daithe, Krista and Rachel (Realtor) was the best! Even underwriting which is sometimes intimidating. It went sooo well and quick. They were all very professional, great customer service & friendly. Derek and his team were great to work with! They were constantly providing info & reaching out to us which gave us much confidence in the process. The process was almost effortless - this team took the difficulty out of it. I would definitely recommend Veterans United they are a very solid company from start to finish they work really hard to get the process going for you to get you to homeownership and it’s hard to find a company nowadays that is not focused on the bottom line more then the client but i didn’t seem to get that from them or feel like i was another person just passing thru and that’s says a lot to me

Kathy Monnig was the BOMB! I would recommend her to anyone. She was always professional, soft-spoken and patient. It did not matter how many times we called in a day, she was still the same understanding, willing to hear and answer our zillion and one questions. She comes highly recommended in our book. When she was going to be out of the office for a few days, she always let us know ahead of time. Now how often does that happen? Overall, it was a positive experience, but call/text often for updates, and coordinate with your realtor to work with them. The timeline from pre-approval to close wasn’t entirely clear, so stay on top of that, and always text or e-mail with questions, as that’s the fastest way to get a response.

If your a first time buyer I would highly recommend you use veterans united 10 out of 10! I was a little intimidated about the whole process but veterans united made it absolutely pain free. As long as you listen to your team assigned to you and get the proper documents. You will be a very satisfied home owner at the end of the process.
