I used Veterans United for my first home loan. When it was time to refinance I shopped with other providers and once again landed with Veterans United. They offered the same or better rates as everyone else, with better customer service and more transparency.

Using Veterans United was an overall great experience. We were able to be approved for a new home during the Coronavirus pandemic and we didn’t have to sell our other home prior to closing. Everyone was extremely nice and offered any information we requested in a timely manner. They also sent us a nice pair of socks and two engraved stemless wine glasses that my wife absolutely loves. We started our home loan right before Coronavirus stuff. So it was a different situation but everything moved fast. We closed 6 days early.

Megan from the very beginning did not give much attention to detail. She didn't review all of our checking accounts until less than 24 hours before closing. All the way down to closing there was a constant lack of attentiveness and follow through. When we finally closed, which was late, the closing costs went up 3 times the original amount. She didn't even call us to congratulate us the day we closed. A day later she called and asked to give her a good review.
