After having a horrible experience with a different lender, finding VA entitlements issues/miscalculation on day 35 of escrow and causing to extend our COE + requiring us to pay approximately $1300 to extend the rate lock to the new COE, I decided to give Veterans United a call. Within minutes, Ryan Stoll was able to point out the calculation issues the previous lender made, and confidently assured me that, if we provide all the required docs by X date, we would still be able to close within 21 days — and we did. Ryan and his transaction coordinator, Levi, were a pleasure to work with. They were very responsive to any/all inquiries we’ve sent, kept us informed on the status through the entire process, were very friendly yet remained professional. I would definitely recommend VU to other veterans looking to purchase a new home.
All and all this was the easiest process I have had to go through. I very much appreciated all of the hand holding and the ability to reach out when needed.
