During the end of the process there was some additional information that was requested during underwriting.. Veterans United reaches out to the company to get this information without telling me that this information was needed. If they would have told me about this information the day they requested it I could have gotten the information in a timely matter and we would have been able to close on time. Due to this information not being delivered on time our closing date was pushed back causeing me to call all the utilities and insurance company’s and change everything. It was a major hassle that could have been avoided if Veterans United would have been up front with me and let me know what was going on.
They listed everything we needed to do. If something was unclear, they made sure we knew what needed to be done, or fixed!

Nick Barnett was very good,could have been a little bit more specific,because I am so computer, illiterate. We worked it out, but the rules were so ,specific,and non bending, I had to repeatably re send the same info. I was expecting the same same rate as on the pre qualification, and it wasn't.

Zach was great to work with. He was always ready to answer any question we had. When it got to the underwriters it became very frustrating. They consistently asked for items we had already given which really put everything behind. I understand their job is to make sure everything is on the up and up but it became ridiculous.
This is our 2nd loan and VU exceeded our expectations both times mes. Anna and her team are true professionals with compassion that is well beyond the norm for this day and age.
