With Veterans United you get assigned a team whom takes your loan and what you’re trying to get accomplished seriously. As long as you’re upfront, honest and provide ALL requested documents TIMELY doing your part and not dragging your feet, you will be well taken care of. Zachary and Britney I worked closely with and I’m quite sure nobody has gotten anyone approved meaning clear to close as quickly as my loan was. 14 days!!!! Yes you read that correctly...14 days!!!! Start to finish!!! That’s not the kicker.....I’m deployed....yes DEPLOYED!!! Zach and Britney stayed on top of everything while working closely with my realtor and mother for any documents needed especially if they couldn’t reach me. Zach and his team, me and my team made ONE heck of a team together to get me my first home!!! After several deployments now, I come home to my very own home. Thank you
I’m glad to work with a team that knows that job and handles every part as professionals
It appeared on more than one occasion that the teams were not on the same page. It put both Terri and Jackie in a very difficult position because they were the face of the organization. On more than one occasion the underwriters asked my manager for the same information and it seemed to come from different people. This of course was not told to Jackie or Terri and they took the brunt of the backlash due to the lack of communication from other teams. We do not put blame of them as they were doing the best they could. It would be beneficial if the other teams would communication more upfront what is needed to the face of the organization.
Other than how the IFA (Iowa Finance Authority) has things structured of getting the grant of 5k, The only thing Veterans United could do is to find out where the loan is actually going and route files that allow them to remain eligible for their state's Military Homeownership assistance programs across the board. It was my true pleasure working with Damien and Alen. You guys have some, "A" players with them!
Don’t use Devon Casady. All the other people were amazing that helped us through the process.
this is my 2nd time Veterans United made my experience one of the best.
Veterans United Home Loans is the best.
This process took way too long and cost me a lot of money, very frustrating. Poor decision on my part. There seemed to be another form that had to be completed and submitted with no end in sight. I hope Veterans United revises their requirements with the hopeful and future client. Here is the list of everything that the client needs to do and let them complete it vs oh, here we now need this, etc..Anyway, that's the roll of the dice.
Response from Veterans United
Bruce, we understand the documentation that comes with VA loans can seem frustrating. Because of feedback like yours, we're constantly improving our process for collecting this information. We will use your feedback to continue our pursuit. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and our Client Advocate team is available if you want to discuss anything further.
Overall, Veterans United helped us to navigate the home buying process with ease. It was great to feel supported and that my loan mattered to them.
Scott gave great feedback and was always willing to chase down the answers to some of my random questions. I couldn't have asked for a more streamlined process.
Rob Dycus and Aaron Chisum. Where both excellent once again! We used both of them 2 years ago for our 1st home purchase. Rob and Aaron both worked tirelessly To help ensure we were taking care of all the way through. Me and my wife had a lot going on in our personal lives during this 2nd home purchase and our 1st home sale. Rob and Aaron made it ian effortless job and a pleasure to work with again. Please promote both of them.
Josh and his team were readily available whenever I had questions. They even were helpful when I lost my cool from potentially stressful situations. I would work with them again and would recommend them to any other veteran looking to secure a home loan.
I started my loan process with another lender that I was ultimately unhappy with because of their lack of communication. I decided to get in touch with Veterans United, who not only provided me with better rates, I was immediately impressed with the timely responses I received. With only 30 days until closing my only concern about switching lenders was having to push back my closing date which I did not want to do. Andy Strubel and his team were confident they could meet the closing date, as long as I provided documents in a timely manner. I was pleasantly surprised when we finished the process in only 20 days! I would recommend Veterans United and Andy Strubel and his team to anyone looking for a VA Lender.
