I have referred two people and two realtors just because of the awesome service provided by Jessica Fitzgerald and Harley Bailey. It was a pleasure working with them and I would go through that process again in a heartbeat. Jessica also sent me a package of flyers and cards that I set up here at Fleet and Family support. Never was I not able to get ahold of her, even during her daughter’s birthday party! And there wasn’t a question those two could not answer ( and there were a lot of questions!) I could go on and on, but you get the point. Simply stellar customer service!

VERY PROFESIONAL

The initial stages went really well, and I did refer some friends, however, the appraiser that was used for my loan was AWFUL. He lied on numerous occasions on his dates to inspect as well as with the completion of his report. Other realtors in my same office were doing VA loans and the other appraisers were only taking 1-2 weeks. Ours took 6 and we had to delay our closing by one day because of it - and he didn't even show up, his wife did. It was on the day of closing, not the next day as he has said, and we were still charges the re-inspection fee of $125.00 over a .50 switch plate.

I found this relatively smooth process, I have never done this before and had no idea what to expect. At times I was overwhelmed but my loan specialist really walked me through and thoroughly answered any questions I had.


This was the first time we bought a home and did not have an approved loan until 72 hours before closing. It gives me, as a buyer, much more confidence that the sale will go through if the loan is secured early in the process. We asked several times if there was anything we could do to expedite the approval, but it became clear that this waiting was standard with VUHL.

Most of the time the delays on loan approval are due to waiting on items needed from third parties like insurance or title work. Zach Debord’s Team was awesome! From the beginning they helped me with everything I needed and answered any question I had with confidence. I highly recommend working with this team.
