I cannot recommend Veterans United highly enough! My husband and I just got our first VA mortgage. It was a much more positive experience than getting our conventional mortgage, let me tell you. I was given Michelle's number by my realtor nearly a year ago, and Michelle answered all my questions before we were sure we wanted to buy a home here - I wasn't even a client yet. From day one, she has helped us with whatever we've needed at the drop of a hat - weekends, evenings, you name it. We have also worked with Jess, who is excellent as well. We loved being able to submit some documents electronically, and they were upfront when anything had to have ink signatures. Closing was quick and easy. Thanks for everything, Veterans United!
Hayden did the impossible! I put an offer on a house that required a short close. Yikes! Everyone always equates the VA loan closing process to being some long, drawn out nightmare. I was really afraid we wouldn't be able to do it. But, I asked anyway. First, and foremost, Hayden was very honest and upfront about the possibility of closing on such short term. He verbalized several times that he could make no guarantee, but that he would do his very best to try to get close to that desired closing date. I purchased my home in California, under California's inefficient mortgage process (CA does not sign, fund, and close on the same day- being from GA, that was a shocker), and I closed in less than 21 days. Hayden is damn good at his job. I know I could not have accomplished this anywhere else, under my circumstances. So, I forever grateful to Hayden. Even though this was my second time purchasing with VU, I almost left for another lender. I'm glad I didn't. Because of Hayden, I'm VU for life!
