Michael, Kyle, Hayden and Christy all did such an amazing job. Everyone was always on top of everything and they were able to answer any question I had at any given moment. This was mine and my wife’s first time buying a home and I don’t think it could’ve gone any smoother. When we asked if we could try close early, the team managed to get the work done and we were able to get the keys when we wanted. I absolutely loved working with this team and will be looking forward to working with Veterans United more in the future (Hopefully the same team). Overall my experience with VU was pleasant and helpful throughout the entire process. Marcus was always easy to get a hold of all things considered as well as his team members. My only note, and this may just be the industry and new to me as a first time home buyer, is that the interest rate that was initially given to me was presented as set in stone and non-negotiable but was quickly thrown to the wind when competing parties were introduced. Personally I would prefer 100% honesty and the best offer given initially however, I know that does not make much business sense and overall am happy with how it all panned out.
The entire process of using Veterans United was flawless from start to finish! This was the easiest and most satisfying home buying has ever been and the team that VU has in place made it such an incredible success! My advice to new home buyers is... with Veterans United I did not have to worry about anything when it came down to financing. The hardest part was getting my finances in order and pushing myself to getting my "To Do" list completed as fast as they appeared. I never felt pushed or pressured into doing anything. I definitely did feel motivated and inspired to get things done in time. My closing date was set to March 4th, and we closed on March 4th. I personally don't like the home buying experience, but if I had to do it again it would be Derek and his team by my side.
