Overall experience and delivery of loan was good, however, our first line of contact with the company was unresponsive to calls and emails. Once her boss was involved all problems were resolved immediately and our experience with Chris Thornton was amazing at the time of closing.

I expected this process to be extremely difficult after hearing other people’s horror stories when buying a home. Be sure to inquire about the VU fees that will be included in your loan amount as this wasn’t explained in initial conversations.
Both Whitney and Jake were almost always available; or, quick to return phone calls. Uploading the required information from our end was easy and the instructions were quite clear. Veterans United kept us updated the whole time as to what was going on, and while the whole process took slightly longer than anticipated, the speed bumps which we encountered were necessary ones and needed to be addressed.
