Veterans United made my home buying experience a lot easier then I expected.The whole staff was very helpful to answering any questions that arose with professional courtesy.This was an eye opening experience with that said, I would advise anyone buying a home to make sure that they have all their ducks in a row.Having to obtain all the documents that was required during the process was the hard part,but in the long run it showed me where I needed to tighten my shot group in keeping things up to date.I'm very thankful and blessed to live in a country where there are still some associations like Veterans United that help those who have served this great nation of ours in obtaining the American dream.God bless to all of the awesome staff at Veterans United...God bless the United States of America.

Going into this process, I was lost. My husband and I were connected to a loan officer first in our home state from there we were off and running. She was able to get all the necessary paperwork required to get us pre-approved. This loan officer aided us in the transition to a different state and the experience was seamless. A couple updated forms later and we were again pre-approved for a higher amount and we were off to house hunting. We found a few home over a 3 month period for which we placed offers and though they were rejected our loan officer was amendment that our home was out there. We finally made it to an accepted contract offer and our loan team helped with everything from where to send the earnest check to the cash to close that we needed. Veterans United Home Loans got us from the start line to the finish line. We are now first time home buyers!

I am a National Guard soldier deployed in Iraq. The only hiccup along the way in this process dealt with W-2's. I was asked multiple questions multiple times to verify why my w-2's didn't match up. Once I let Eric's team know that whomever was reviewing my w-2's was only looking at one of my w-2's, not both of them. Once Jessica figured out the mistake, it was addressed right away.
My home buying experience was not as stressful as many warned me about. I worked with Leah Maloney and she along with her team were awesome! I really love the portal app which made sending and receiving information and documents very smooth. Being a first time buyer, Leah answered my questions and helped me to breathe easy during the process. The portal works, so when asked to fill out, sign or review any documents, the faster you comply the sooner you will be at signing.
