First time home buyer so I can't compare, but this was a great experience. Glad I found them. They helped me all the way from me having horrible credit to when I was able to qualify. Wish I could say it was stress free but that had more to do with creditors on my side than anything they did wrong. My loan officer Nick is one I would highly recommend. Did everything in his power to get me into a home. I really don't have anything negative to say about the experience.
Veterans United did absolutely EVERYTHING they could to get this deal done. They worked with me for as many houses as we put an offer in on, and as long as it took to get to the end. They took care of everything and even mailed me documents to a hotel when I was traveling. Great customer service all the way through the whole process.
We would have given Tyler and his team a 10. We were scheduled to close on 5/31 but a few days before I checked in re status and upon further review we needed to provide additional documentation. This further delayed the closing to 6/4. My husband lost 4 days of work because of the delay and we were inconvenienced. Tyler did issue a credit to us at closing but it didn't really make up for all the time we lost.
Any veteran who does not take advantage of Veterans United as a road to home ownership is missing a a great opportunity. I would encourage any veteran who wants to be a home owner to take this road. I love my new house and look forward to making it my forever home.
