From the start, Wesley at Veterans United made the process seemless. You always hear about how stressful buying a home can be, but with him at the helm, we simply submitted our information and our team did the rest. If there was anything we needed to do or additionally submit through the process, it was plainly stated on the website portal under "To-Dos" and checked off as we went. If we ever had any questions or concerns, our team was available or called right back. They even text! They let us know upfront what costs to expect, like an inspector and an appraiser. They provided us with Blake, our awesome Real Estate agent who we felt was truly honest and someone we could trust. We even got money back for using one of VU's own agents, who we felt lucky to get anyway! Miranda was a huge part of what made our team great and always was a voice of reassurance that kept us positive! The hardest part was just being patient until close! Without a doubt, we feel like we were working with people who care about us as a direct result of their sincere and deeply personal philosphy of getting Veterans and their families into homes they love. With no money down and the goal of getting most, if not all closing costs paid, it really does make it possible!!!
Both Jake Faerber and Colin Williams were very professional in both the way they handled my loan process so quickly and also in the way they were able to take the time to explain the intricacies of each step in a way that made it easy for me to understand. They were very patient with me during this process and I never felt that they were patronizing me in any way. And we were able to close my loan in just 22 days! WOW! What efficiency! Jake and Colin took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly and quickly. And when closing day came (in just a little over 3 weeks from start to finish!), there were no bad surprises, everything was just as they said it would be at the very beginning. I wish all my business transactions would go this way!!! I hope Veterans United are paying these gentlemen well! They are worth it!
