Veterans United was awesome from beginning to the end. We started off with Peter Harper, who was amazing on getting us in the system, and letting us know what to expect. Brittany in the Lighthouse dept. is unbelievably the best, she made it super easy to qualify, and it didn't take long at all....Amazing! Then Peter had to move to another dept., or something happened and we got to meet Chris Primmer. Chris was super helpful, friendly, and well educated. He made the rest of our home buying process simple, stress free and so easy. Chris was very informative and was able to communicate with us via text, which was super important to us because we have Triplet boys and it's hard to communicate with them making noise and tugging at your pants leg. We got to the underwriting stage and that's when we met Megan, who was also amazing as well, she's very educational, friendly and very helpful as well. We ended up getting the dream home that we always wanted, we closed right around 30 days as promised by Chris, and we have everyone at Veterans United to thank. Again I have nothing negative to say about this process, keep up the outstanding work Veterans United, I will make sure that I spread the word. Thank you VU!!!

I really appreciated my Veterans United team, especially my loan coordinator Susan Stephenson, who was really helpful during the process. We tried to move closing up a week to accommodate the seller; we didn't quite make it, but everyone tried their best to do so. The only thing I would have appreciated was some sort of "timeline guide" during each step of the process, so I could better understand average and maximum times for various stages of the process (especially towards the end -- SAR, final underwriting, closing, etc).
Veterans United is by far the best mortgage company for veteran's. This is our 3rd home purchase using them and compared to our previous home purchases they are leaps and bounds ahead of the other companies. They have excellent customer service, professional friendly staff and really just make the home buying process easy and stress free.
Stuart and Lauren were incredibly helpful and effective communicators. Did everything they could to make this process easier. They looked at every way possible to help me save and made sure I understood every step of the process.

Having to refinance our home was a little scary you never know if you really want to do it or not, in this case we had to do it, our house needed repairs. I did a lot of research online and saw a lot of professional reviews and took their advice by calling Veterans United. I can say from the first call to Cara Chamberlain (Musick) Veterans United representative we were put it at ease, there was no pushing no hard sales tactics ownley consideration, professionalism, understanding, knowledgeable with a touch of personal kindness.
