I was very glad to be able to go thru them to get my home, for someone who never even thought about buying one, because I knew the process would be "special" I did not want to be bothered, but the way our lease kept going up year by year, that made the decision to buy very easy. I am a 67 yr old female veteran that had a choice of banks to use for her Veterans Home Loan. The traditional bank wanted the same info as Veterans, except they wanted even more detail from me. It just seemed liked with the traditional bank I was just being forced to jumped through hoops. My Team was excellent. They answered my questions, explained things, they answered their phones. Boy what a change to have people that answered their phones 99% of the time and then the other 1%, my call was returned. I would recommend Veterans to any Veteran looking to obtain a mortgage.

I had so many concerns that I would not be able to get a loan being a single parent and having some debt, but Veterans United made everything seem so easy. Chris was amazing and was available to answer any question day or night!
Always kept us informed of the status and documentation that was needed. Although at times it seemed like some of the documentation requests were duplicated. Jody Overacre, our VU agent, was friendly and accommodating and always, ALWAYS returned emails, texts, and phone calls super quickly. Explained everything in terms I could understand, and fully. I never felt rushed or like I couldn't keep asking questions. The real estate agent VU recommended, Charilyn Cosgrove, was 100% exactly what we needed and also answered all my questions super fast. She made everything so simple!! From our home inspector to our eventual home insurance agent, her contacts were the BEST! Being from out of town, I couldn't have known where to start. No worries!!
